Delete your Towzi account
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This page is for people who use the Towzi app, published by Towzi OÜ. It explains how to have your account and its data deleted, what is erased and what is kept.
In the app: Profile, then Delete account
Open Profile, then Delete account. The page shows what will be erased, what is kept and anything that stops the deletion right now. Tap Delete my account at the bottom and confirm.
Your account is switched off at once and you are signed out on every phone. A customer cannot post a request, a driver goes offline, and a company goes offline and gets no job offers. The account is erased 30 days later, on the date the app shows you.
If you sign in during those 30 days, the app asks whether to keep your account. Tap Keep my account and the deletion is cancelled. If you sign out instead, the deletion stays on course.
Without the app
Write to info@towzi.eu from the email address your account uses, and say that you want the account deleted. If you can no longer use that address, tell us the phone number on the account instead.
A person at Towzi handles each request within 30 days. The deletion then runs as it does in the app: the account is switched off, and erased 30 days later.
If you are a driver, the company you drive for can also remove your login in the app, under Drivers. That ends your access but does not erase your details; to have them erased, write to us as above.
What can stop a deletion
Deleting has to wait while a job is in progress, while a problem report is open, or while money cannot settle by itself: an unpaid job, refunds a company owes that are larger than its earnings, or earnings a company cannot be paid because its Stripe account is not active. The app shows what is in the way and how to clear it.
A company’s ordinary unpaid earnings do not stop a deletion. The weekly payout pays them during the 30 days, and the erase waits until it has.
What we erase
After the 30 days we erase your sign-in, name, phone number, email address and profile photo, your saved card and your customer record at Stripe, and your notifications. We also erase the car photo and description of your jobs, your review comments, and the text and photos of your problem reports.
For a provider company we also erase the contact person, phone numbers, website, uploaded documents and last known position, and the company’s Stripe account once its balance is zero. The logins of its drivers close with it. For a driver we also erase the licence plate and last known position.
What we keep, and why
Estonian accounting law requires us to keep invoice records for 7 years. For each job that is the service, the price, the charges, the dates, the pickup and drop-off points and the distance. After the erase these records show “Deleted customer” or “Deleted driver” in place of your name, and carry no email address or phone number.
A company’s legal name, registry code, VAT number and address stay on its invoices: they describe a business, not a person. Star ratings stay too, without their comments, because they make up a company’s average.
Arrival and completion photos and routes follow their own rule: photos are deleted 60 days after the job is completed and routes after 24 months, later if a dispute about the job is open.
Deleting only some of your data
To have something deleted without closing your account, for example a photo, write to info@towzi.eu and say what it is.
